At jLoxStudios, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data and your rights as a user. By using this app, you agree to the practices outlined below.

1. Personal Information

We do NOT collect nor process any personal information user data. Identifiable user data such as payments details are processed only via Google Play Billing platform and are not stored in our apps or servers.

The app does NOT request, store, transmit nor share the following data with any third-party:

  • Your location, your name and address.
  • Your email address, IP address, SMS, MMS, Instant Messages, Private Messages
  • Your phone number
  • Your device ID and any of your personal existing user IDs (held or not with other app accounts).
  • Your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political belief, religious belief, birth or other dates, gender, identity, status, etc…
  • Your health and fitness info.
  • Your photos, videos, audios.
  • Your files, calendar content, docs, web browsing data/history.
  • Your activity with this app, any other installed apps, any in-app search history.
  • Any app performance related info, crash logs, diagnostics
  • (See further down Section 8 about payment)

No account creation, login, or authentication is required to use this app.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following limited data locally on your device to enable functionality:

  • A secure customer ID randomly generated by our server to associate your activity with items you’ve accessed. This customer ID is shared only between our server that generates it and the device on which you are running the app. It is not transmitted to any third-party, it is stored both on the local device and the server to associate items you’ve accessed. This internally generated customer ID is necessary for core functionality to work properly between our app and our server.
  • The last accessed position for items you have viewed. Likewise, this is also stored on your local device and our server (For example, this is necessary for the app to remember the last page of a magazine that you have viewed, so that the next time the magazine is reopened, it can jump to the remembered page).
  • Your selected privacy policy choice (accepted or opted out). This policy choice is not shared with our server, it is only stored on the device on which you are running the app (See Section 3 below for more on this).

This data is used solely to support the app’s viewing experience and is NEVER transmitted to any third parties (whether to any other apps on the device or remotely). The app does not use any form of WebView or WebBrowsing. This data is stored securely and transmitted securely between our app and our server.

3. User Choice and Access

If you decline the privacy policy:

  • Access to the app and its content will be denied.
  • Your last-viewed item positions will still be stored locally, in case you return and accept the policy in the future.

4. Uninstalling the App

When the app is uninstalled:

  • All locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.
  • You will lose access to any remaining unexpired content.
  • Data cannot be recovered once uninstalled.

5. Content Access and Ownership

This is a pay-per-view app. Not a chat app, not a content sharing app. You do not own content paid; instead, you receive time-limited access:

  • Access is granted only after successful payment.
  • Access is valid for 48 hours per item from the time of purchase.
  • After the access period expires, the item is no longer viewable unless purchased again.

We may update access terms in the future, including:

  • Duration of access.
  • Promotional or discounted pricing.

Such updates will be communicated through the app or policy revisions.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Although we do not collect personal information, we still respect your digital rights:

  • We do not sell or share any user data.
  • All data remains local to your device unless otherwise notified.
  • You may delete all associated data at any time by uninstalling the app.

8. Payment Processing

All payments for content access are securely processed through Google Play Billing, our trusted third-party payment processor.

  • We support payments via Google Play Billing’s platform.
  • Your payment details (card number, expiration date, CVV, etc.) are NEVER stored or processed by our app or servers.
  • The purchase history stored is only the most up-to-date purchase on the item based on the customer ID which permits our server to verify content access or expiration for this item and customer ID.
  • We do not store histories of purchases except for the current one as mentioned above.
  • Our servers verify purchase via Google Play Billing platform. The app does not make such verification.
  • We do not collect your credit score, salary or debts.
  • You will be required to enter your payment details each time you make a purchase to consume payable content.
  • Payment information is transmitted directly and securely to Google Play Billing.
  • We do not have access to, nor do we retain, any payment information.
  • By making purchases through our app, you agree to Google Play Billing’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

9. Content Usage Restrictions

All content accessed through the app is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Copying, reproducing, distributing, or reselling any items accessed through the app without explicit permission.
  • Printing content unless the app explicitly provides a print feature for that specific item.

Any unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination of access and potential legal action.

10. Community Standards

We are committed to upholding a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Our platform does not support and strictly opposes any form of content that involves or promotes:

  • Violence or threats of violence or offensive language.
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material.
  • Antisemitism or any form of religious hatred.
  • Racism, xenophobia, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or identity.
  • Extremist or radical ideologies.
  • Promotion or glorification of hate groups or hate speech.
  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse.
  • Content that incites or encourages illegal activity or criminal behaviour.
  • Misinformation or malicious falsehoods that may cause harm.
  • Self-harm, suicide advocacy, or promotion of dangerous behaviour.

Our users do not generate content within our digital store; however, we take responsibility for all material made available through our platform. jLoxStudios does not intend to publish, endorse, or distribute any content of the nature described above. We actively work to ensure all content aligns with our ethical standards and legal obligations.
